Cliff, how much did you drink before creating that - oh so articulate - post? Please read your slop when you sober up. And the notion of you asking what people like, and why, is a fucking joke when you've allready defined what a good tour is. You contradict yourself - you ask people to share their experiences then let them know that their experiences are invalid in the same post. You are a joke.

"you ask people to share their experiences then let them know that their experiences are invalid"

Where did I ask for anyone to share their experiences?

You are either a complete moron or you have very low reading comprehension skills.

Hey touch-head, I specificaly asked for peoples opinions on tours and requested that they not be biased by the fact that they attended the shows, because morons like you cant differentiate between a quality performance and a fun trip scene in the parking lot!

L&S - some free , hopefully helpful advice .
Another man's/woman's opinions are just that . Why do you take them so personally ? You , no one else takes the opinion in .
Let me cut all the bubble wrap away .
You and CH have had a beef for a long time .( Please , I'm sorry , I do not want to know the origin . ) This recent post of yours does not contribute anything , but a diminishment of comity among the forum .
Being ignored is possibly the most effective way to deal with someone whose writing - and make no mistake , that is all this is - is irksome to you . Your post begs for flame in your direction . Is that what you want ? Also , if you are in the forum , you know you picked a cruel line of attack that has nothing to do with your intended victim .
I have no beef with you L&S , nor will I .
Lastly , if you scroll down a bit you may notice a long post on a '90 tour without one snarky post . I wouldn't care if there was .

That is my point , exactly. I just have a problem with Cliff because he is the one that tells people 'just because you were there and had a good time doesn't mean it was a good show'. I understand that all we have is our opinions. I have strong ones, as you see. I just have never heard the 'you being there doesn't make it a good show' rap before. I find it to be the antithesis of the Dead experience, and that's why it bothers me.

I didn't think Cliff's post was any more inane than any other post that's ever been made on this forum! To a certain extent, all such questions are a tad silly since something like the "definition of a good tour" is so subjective. But why call him names (e.g. drunken) when the rest of us are just as guilty?
